TULSA

Sorry I'm a few days late in posting my TULSA. I've had a tooth ache for over a week and went in today to get it pulled and she (dentist) decided that since I was already there she wanted to pull the other 2 wisdom teeth I would need pulled. :( so, needless to say my mouth is killing me. I just want to post this and lay down; I have been stitching a very cute LK design for an exchange I'm in; I'll post pictures when I am able to.

Hi, hope everyone is keeping cool; it was 104 here today; and thats WAYYYY TOOO HOT!!! I HATE being hot. Hopefully fall will hurry and get here. lol I went to the grocery store and found the Just Cross Stitch Xmas Orn. preview; I had to get it. There's a few in there I want to stitch.

I only worked a few hours; my tooth is killing me; I was able to get an appt. to get into see my dentist tomorrow @3:00. I'll prob just have her pull it; it's a back molar and I just can't afford $800 for a root canal. I just want it to stop hurting. It's not as bad now; I took some Vics my Dr. prescribed me for my knee. Here is a picture of Kenny; I caught him lying on the couch; these are just a few of the stuffed animals he's won me; he loves to win me stuffed animals at fairs, etc. I have 29 at last count. He won me a 3ft. bear at the Colorado State Fair a few years ago that holds a heart that says "I love you". It's my favorite. :)

Kenny told me he has a "surprise" fo me Friday; I HATE when he does that; it drives me crazy not knowing; my oldest daughter Heather knows about it; she texted me today and was teasing me that she knew what it is but won't tell me. Were going out with some friends on Friday night; but I guess this "surprise" I'll get when I get home from work Friday. I'll be sure to let you all know. :)

I finished my little gift for my mom; I swear I'll get better at finishing; it just takes practice I guess; what I'd give to be as talented at finished as Becky and Vonna :) Maybe someday I'll get close. LOL The one with the flag is for my mom and the smaller one is for me; I put cute flag material in moms and watermelon in mine; I guess I should have taken pics of the inside. :)

Here's a picture of my baby "Rowdy" before his haircut and after. :) I like him all fuzzy but with the heat being as bad as it has been; I know he's happier shaved. Not much else going on; I'm off work today and going to wash clothes and work on my Birds of a Feather boarder; I have about 1/2 of it done maybe a little more and want to start part 2 before part 3 comes out. LOL

I also have to stitch my LK exchange gift; I have it picked out and it's gonna be so cute; I can't wait to show you all. Hope everyone has a great day and can stay cool.

I love baby feet...

Ashley sent me a few new pictures of Scarlett I had to share with you all. I did finally start something new. LOL It's just a little something for my mom and decided to do one for me; so when I'm all done I'll post a picture; it'll probabely be tomorrow; I'm going to "finish" them in Altoid tins; her's will be the larger one and mine is the smaller one.

I went to the Dr. today my hip is hurting and they gave me some pain pills and muscle relaxer. I talked to her about doing Gastric Bypass; I am about 60 lbs over weight and have to do something; my blood pressure is high and I'm on meds;I have been over weight since I had Ashley and I am over it; I go from a size 16 to 18 and was even a 24 at one point; I lost about 80 lbs about 5 years ago and have put 50 of it back on. I don't want to be skinny; just healthy; maybe a size 13; I'm 5'9 and "large boned" so I don't want to be 120 lbs; just not this heavy. Has anyone out there had this surgery? I go back July 12 to talk to my main Dr. I have to do something. I'm 50 and feel it's past time. :)

My brother's best friend was killed yesterday in a small plane accident; they have friends who own a small plane and guess the pilot made an error and was closer to the ground then he'd thought; he only has some broken bones; but it killed Douglas immediately. He's married w/3 little girls under 2; his wife just had twin girls in January; he was never without a smile and something sweet to say; he's such a nice guy. Life is so unfair sometimes; it makes you question things when someone so nice is taken and so many evil people are left. Please put his wife and girls in your prayers; they were such a happy couple; you could see and feel their love for each other when you were around them. Please hold your loved ones close; life is so precious.

Should I???

I want to start a new picture; never-mind the 2011 Crazy Challenge where I've only completed 1, LOL and the dozen others I have started; I have gotten some pretty cute new patterns lately and they are calling my name and I'm trying my hardest not to surcome to their calls and finish the ones I have started. LOL

I swear this "Cross Stitching" is a disease; I nice one thou. But once it gets in your blood stream your thru..LOL all common sence goes right out the window. When I first started stitching in 1984 I was "one of those" stitchers who only did one at a time and I did this for years; then I started slowly adding others and now I wonder if I'm a "Serial Starter"?? LOL How about you all? Do you have to have more than one going at a time?

We finally have rain!! It's been raining since in the middle of the night, I woke to thunder and lightening and laid their watching it light up my window for the longest time; Kenny is out job hunting again; he goes out everyday and I sure hope someone calls soon, it's only been 2 weeks. He thought he had one at the local newspaper; but they said to call back next Monday. So, we'll see. I'm off today and tomorrow, I have my nightgows & robe in the washer and I guess I'll do the rest of the laundry; or should I just sit on my behind and stitch while it's so nice and quiet?? Ok, I'll stitch; at least I took a shower today. :) Hope everyone has a great day..
