More stash & a new start...

I seriously think I have a problem; I'm a "Serial Starter"...I can't help myself I keep finding patterns I've bought over time and want to start them NOW..LOL I came across this Jolly Jack last night and a piece of Cashel "Days Gone By" Linen and thought they'd look great together. I'm off work today and after I clean the kitchen and sweep & mop the floor I'm starting this...I went to my LNS yesterday and had to pick up a few more little things. I think I'm pretty good...well, at least for a while..

Scarlett & Ashley leave for Germany on Friday; she has to drive to Dallas and then drop her car off to be shipped to Germany and take a shuttle to the airport and they fly out at 4:30 p.m. I hate to see them go but I know they belong with Torry. He's missed so much of Scarlett's growing up already. I'm babysitting Scarlett tonight while Ashley goes out with her friends. I don't mind; I sure am going to miss them. I'm going to start saving to go over for Christmas in 2012. :)

Well, the kitchen isn't getting done by me just sitting here. LOL

No stitching here...:(

Well, since the girls have been here I haven't stitched at all; but I think I may tonight; Kenny went to Montrose (5 hour drive one way) to pick up my oldest daughter; she was there visiting friends and needed a way home (Colorado Springs, about 1 hour drive) we got a new pick up the other day and he was more than happy to break it in. LOL I had to work and didn't go; I came home and spent the afternoon with Scarlett & Ash.

I have a tooth ache :( I'm trying to ignore it and hopefully it'll either go away or ease up til Monday when I can hopefully get into my dentist. I lost my filling and bit down on something and the tooth broke; it's a back molar and I don't know if she (dentist) can save it? I just want it to stop hurting. I love the new BBD's Halloween books; I can't wait to get them; I'm going to my LNS on Monday to get some threads I forgot the other day and hopefully they'll have the new books; otherwise I'll order them from 123 Stitch and get the threads & material from my LNS. I try to get as much as I can from them; I'd die if they closed. Hope everyone is doing well; I'm sure many of you are busy getting little ones ready for school; how I miss those days. Enjoy them now because they'll be gone before you know it...

Finally some STASH!!!

I finally was able to get to my LNS today; I couldn't really take my time and look around, cuz Ashley & Scarlett were waiting in the car but it's prob a good thing; I spent $55 in about 15 minutes; LOL Sorry the pics are so blurry I don't know why; maybe the camera needs charged?

I found this beautiful material; one is a pretty green which I plan on stitching some pumpkins on and the other is a deep grey that I just fell in love with; I don't know what I'm stitching on that yet and then I got the material for the Autumn Alphabet from LK; I've been wanting to order this for sometime now; and I love the little "farm" pattern; my mom was raised on a dairy farm so I think I'm going to stitch it for her and make into a cube. All the material is 32 ct.

Today was Scarletts 1st Birthday :) I can't believe she's gotten so big. Her and Ashley got her this morning about 9 and their here til they leave for Germany; It's going to be a little tight in the house since I moved into a 1 bedroom; but we'll manage. Kenny will have to adjust to living w/2 women and a baby. LOL I'm going to go and see what threads I need to order. I'll be posting a lot of new pictures of Scarlett; probabley won't get much stitching done while there here; but I'll sure try..

HUMMMMMMM

I sure don't feel like going to work today; it's all cloudy and looks like rain; a perfect day to sit and stitch all day; but I have been putting some money back because I haven't bought any new stash since APRIL!! And I can't stand it anylonger; so I'm planning a trip to my LNS on Wednesday and have an order ready for 123stitch if I don't find what I want at my LNS. :)

Scarlett and Ashley will be here on Tuesday my SIL finally got housing in Germany and the girls can join him now. She has to come here to make arrangements for the movers etc. She's so excited. No stitching news today; hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures of LK Hallween Rules tomorrow.

Rooster Party!!!

I love Blogging; you come across such fun stuff. :) I'm joining Sheila at Note Songs for her Rooster Party..I have always loved chickens & roosters; I think I get it from my Grandma Brewster. They lived on a dairy farm and I remember spendig summers there when I was little. And visiting all the different ladies that are joining this Rooster Party has brought back some pretty wonderful memories.

Thank you Sheila for having such a fun party...

I was just putting all my goodies away and didn't notice the "frog" Kathy had attached to the great stitching bag. LOL I love him..and am gonna keep him on my TULSA jar to keep the "REAL FROGGING" away. :) I have my candle burning and it is making my home smell wonderful..Thank you again Kathy.

I stitched a lot yesterday on my Halloween Rules by LK. It's really a fun stitch; I'm still going to switch it up a little, I can't wait to share with you when I'm all done..I am off work again today and am going to just relax and stitch away my afternoon. I did all the cleaning yesterday and it's nice and quiet here.

Early Christmas...Thanks Kathy!!

I won Kathy & Rory's birthday drawing and I got my "presents" today..Thank you so very much Kathy; you really-really made my day!! I had such fun opening all the packages; Kenny said I looked like a little girl on Christmas and I felt like it. I love the material and threads, I just was going to have to order some needles..LOL Your a sweetheart hun (Rory too) Thank you from the bottom of my heart...

Here's a picture of Scarett that Ashley sent me today; I was off work and Kenny got a job and had to go do his paperwork today; so I cleaned, washed rugs, mopped the floors etc..and then stitched for a few hours on my LK Halloween Rules, sitting watching for the mailman because I knew Kathy had sent my package out. LOL And of course he (mailman) gets here around 11:30 and today we had a sub. who got here around 4..:( LOL I'm going to go play with my new stash..Thank you again Rory and Kathy..your the best...
