OOPS, with the move and everything going on I totally forgot to post my TULSA,,sorry, here it is and sorry this is so short; I'm up to my ???? in boxes and crap!! LOL

What is going on???

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been in a "funk" lately, sad, depressed, crying easily over little things. I don't know if it's in the "air", "moon" or what?? But it can diffidently be over now. The holidays are right around the corner and I know how joyful they can be and they can also be the most difficult time of the year for those of us who have lost loved ones in our lives.

My blogging friend Becky just lost her dear FIL & BIL with in one week; I can't even imange the pain her SIL is feeling losing both her dad & husband to cancer within one week of each other. My heart breaks for her. They say God never gives us more than we can handle and that things happen for a reason. It makes you wonder thou when how much is just enough?

We should just all be thankful for the loved ones we do have around us and know that those we've lost are in a better place than we are and are no longer feeling pain. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I prob won't be blogging much til next weekend; were moving Monday. YUCK!! And I haven't packed 1 box yet...LOL

We found a home....

Yea!! We looked at a beautiful 1960's brick home. We found out this afternoon that we got it and will be moving next Monday. I hate, hate, hate to pack and move but love to unpack and put things in new places. :).

I stitched one of the Bent Creeks Autumn Row's pumpkins & crows; I may get a chance to "finish" it tomorrow; I don't know yet; I have to start packing. :(

A finish...

I finally finished this cute freebie..it was such a fun stitch. I actually finished it a few days ago, been feeling kind of "blah" the past few days; I don't know if it's from the new meds, my Dr. put me; a 50 year old woman w/her tubes tied on birth control pills to help my periods be lighter, there making me anemic. Or just the fact we have to move in about 10 days and don't have a place to go.

We've checked out some real "dumps" and I won't just settle for a dump to live in; I know something will come along, it always does. I just haven't felt like stitching for a few days now. I have to meet the movers at Ashleys storage unit today to pack their stuff up to be sent to Germany.

I did pull out one of the Bent Creeks Rows, and am gonna stitch one of the pumpkins w/crows to put on Altoid cans...I did that about 3 days ago..lol Hope everyone is doing well..

New stash & a new purse..

I love, love, love 123 Stitch; I placed this order on Saturday recieved it today!! I can't wait to get started on the Penny America; I've seen it done up several times and it's so cute.

Me & Kenny had went downtown the other night to Octoberfest and we walked around downtown and we walked by this new store; I fell in love with a different purse actually and had to go back and get it, when I got there the guy was very nice and unpacking a box of new purses; and this one he'd just put in the window..It's a little "wild" for me; but I really fell in love with it. I haven't bought a new purse in I don't know how long.

Tonight I'm going to stitch on my "freebie" I should finish it by tomorrow and then I think I'm gonna stitch a little something for my mom. And switch purses. :) Wish I could have afforded a new wallet also; maybe next month.

Hello Sunday...

I am so glad it's finally my "Friday" at work; it's been a long week for sure; I went to the Dr. on Thursday for my blood results and I have Diabetes; I kind of thought thats what all those extra tests were for. But the good news is the border line is 6.5 and mine are 6.7 so my dr is giving me til December to get it lowered before she puts me on the pills. Not a good time of the year to diet huh? :(

Me and Kenny went downtown for dinner last night; we shared a "slopper" for those of you who don't know what that is; it's 2 hamburger patties; the bottom buns, toped with french fries and then topped with green chili, cheese and onions. It's a heart attack waiting to happen; but we split one and only have them prob twice a year. Their so darn good...gotta splurge once in a while.


Kenny went to WalMart the other day and brought me home this black rose..lol I told him I don't think thats too romantic and he said he knows I love Halloween and he thought it'd add to my decorating. :) I thought it was a cute jesture. He does have his moments. He got paid the other day and came home and gave me his debit card and told me to order myself some cross stitch stuff!!! I told him he must be losing his mind giving me a card to do that!! LOL I was nice and only spent $37. But told him to feel free to do that anytime he wants. He laughed...Well off to work sorry no stitchy pics; I haven't been stitching for a few days.
