A bunch of "stuff" & TULSA

Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't posted in a few days; just been busy working and stitching this model for Renee, I'll finish it tonight then I'm going to stitch my mom something for Mother's Day and the May Word Play for me. :) Here's my TULSA for this month, the lilacs are from my yard; I love how they smell; we sat outside last night and the air smelled like lilacs.

Kenny was lying on the floor by my "stitching chair" the other night and the "boys" attacked him; isn't Bear getting big? My cat (Baby) was lying on the coffee table yesterday and he was trying to play with her..lol Me & Kenny went to "The Arc" (it's like a Goodwill) and I found this Prairer Schooler for .69! I was happy..

I finally ordered myself some stash; I also got 5 skeins of threads; I got 2 Crescent Colours, Frog Legs & Ladybug, 2 Simply Shaker, Grape Arbor & Uniform Blue, and 1 Gentle Ars, Peacock. I went to take a picture and my camera was dead. Hope everyone is having a great day and able to get some stitching in...

Looking for Elmo...

Does anyone know where I can find a cross stitch pattern with "Elmo"?? Ashley told me Scarlett loves him and I want to stitch her a picture..:)

Quilt show..

Well, I went to the "Quilt & Needlework Expo" this morning and there was NO Cross Stitch at all....:( I was so disappointed. I found some fat 1/4s of some cute material I will use in "finishing" (someday)..LOL and this bat ric rack was too cute to pass up; I can see it on a Halloween pin keep...:)

There was some beautiful quilts hanging on the walls; I wish I could quilt but I couldn't afford to quilt and stitch; those ladies who were shopping was spending a LOT of money; one lady in front of me spend $187 on material; then came me; with one fat 1/4 for $2.95..lol then I bought 4 more at another booth for $1.95 and the bat trim was only $2.75; I would have bought more of that but it was the last one.

Kenny has to work til 6 then were going out to dinner; we try to make Saturday nights our "date night"; we go out to dinner and sometimes to a movie. I went out and picked some of my lilacs and have in a few vases; our home smells great..:) I think I'm gonna go stitch on my model picture; I really hope to get this done and mailed on Wednesday; I am fighting the urge to stitch myself something...lol

I can't believe I haven't posted in a while; I've been stitching on the model sampler for Renee so I don't have any stitching to share right now. I'm trying to get it finished and mailed out by Wednesday; I want to stitch something for me; but want to get this out in the mail first. It's really pretty and I know all of you will love it when I'm able to share. I have her pay me in stash...:) (Stitcher's Closet) so it's a "win/win" relationship...lol

Here's a few pictures of Miss. Scarlett. I can't believe she's getting so darn big; I miss her more than I can say; but we do Skype 4-5 days a week; so that does help a lot; I don't know if I could make it without Skype. In this picture of her eatting at her little table she looks like she's saying "don't take my picture when I'm eatting"..LOL She's quite the charactor and keeps Ashley on her toes.

I hope everyone is getting lots of stitching in and everyone is well. I'm going to the Pueblo Quilt & Needlework Expo tomorrow and I can't wait; even thou I don't quilt I love to look and I pick up some material and buttons. I'll take pictures to share with you all. Have a great weekend...

April already???

Hi all, can't believe it's been so long since my last post; we've been pretty busy at work and I picked up a couple extra shifts and I sure can feel it on this old body of mine. I'm a waitress for a family restaurant called "The Black-eyed Pea" and we have wonderful food. :) I've been here 5 years now; they want me to train to be a manager; but I'd have to move to Denver to train and Kenny won't go there and that doesn't really matter; LOL I may need a big change in my life; both work-wise and relationship wise. He's good to me, but I just wanna be alone. I guess thats a topic for another post another day..

I stitched this little ornament; but haven't finished it yet; I don't really care to finsh things and have to figure something out my pile of unfinished things is really growing..I have my Aunt Lee's old, old sewing machine and can't figure out how to use it; I haven't used a sewing machine since High School many, many moons ago. Now, I'm stitching on a beautful sampler for Renee @ Stitcher's Closet, I'll share a photo when I'm able to, I'm loving stitching it thats for sure. Scarlett was "helping" Torry (her daddy) make a pizza the other night; but I think she ate more than she helped..LOL

I know I'm late posting my TULSA; I need to get caught up on a whole bunch of things; Hope everyone is safe in Texas where they had those tornados. Take care all.
