May-be...

Well, "Maybe" I'll finish the May Word Play before June that is!!! LOL I started this a few days ago and really love working on it; but I'm losing my "mojo"..I hate when we go thru this, it seems to happen every once in a while; I think when your on a "dead-line" finishing a gift, or exchange piece you get burnt out and that's what happened to me. I'm going to sit and stitch for about 15 mins when I'm done posting and see if I can snap myself outta it.

On the home front; my oldest daughter Heather and grandson Hayden (16) are coming to stay with us until she gets a job and gets on her feet; it's just not working out for them in Montrose, CO. We have a small 2 bedroom house, I guess my craft room will have to be put on the back burner for a while. I don't think they'll be long prob a few months. I don't mind at all and Kenny seems to be okay with it. He has to understand; no matter where I am in my life or whats going on when my girls need a home they will always have one with me; even if I'm living in a box under a bridge..lol (that'll never happen but just saying..) My parents were always there for me when I was younger and me and Heather's dad broke up I remember calling them crying (I was in Colorado and they were in Ohio), my dad asked "do you wanna come home sis?" and I said "yeeesss", and there was a plane ticket waiting for me the next day; I'm the same with my girl. Ashley and Torry went walking around their little town outside the Post yesterday and Scarlett had lots of fun; thought I'd share some pic with you. I also took advantage of Sandra's special (Homespun Elegance) sale she had last week and ordered 3 books I've been admiring, she even included a little gold star I need for one of the designs, Thank you Sandra...:) Well, off to stitch (hopefully) Have a wonderful day...

Happy Mother's Day & Stash...

I want to wish all you ladies out there a very Happy & safe Mother's Day..I have to work..:( it's the busiest day of the year and I can guarantee you all that I will be dragging a*$ tomorrow night..lol (I'm a waitress) and I have a GREAT order ready to be sent off first thing Monday morning. :)

I have wanted these two charts for a very long time and went on Mary Janes site the other day and they were on sale for $5 each, it was a "sign" I had to have them..lol now I can't wait to get started. I ordered the threads for them weeks ago thinking I was going to order them then; but I couldn't at the time. I like when the shops have the called for threads posted so we can order them and not have to wait til we get the charts and then have to wait to order the threads.

Here's a picture of mom's gift; it'll be a few days late..I'm always running late these days. The white spots are sun shining thru the blinds; it looks like something on the material; but it's just the sun. I'm going to the Dr. on Monday; I'm going to see if I can get some meds for my mood swings; they have gotten pretty bad lately. This menapause is going to be the death of me yet..or of Kenny...lol Here's a picture of my adorable grandbaby Scarlett; with a "pudding face"..I'm planning on going over to Germany this year I just haven't decided when exactly I'll be able to go. I want to stay for 4 weeks and it's going to either be October or December. Please enjoy your Mother's Day and relax & get lots of stitching in...

Time for changes.

My divorce became final yesterday from Ricky. We've been separated 4 years now and have just keep putting off the divorce. I decided to go back to my maiden name: McNeely and my whole life I've always been called "Sharee" by my friends and family and I am going to go back to being called Sharee. I never thought I'd be going back to my maiden name; but I decided why have another name when I'm not married? I was born a McNeely and I'll die one..:) Which I'm okay with.

I am almost done with my moms gift (I'll post a picture tonight or in the morning) then I don't know what I'll do; prob May's word play. I have been a bad girl the past few days and ordered some patterns from Homespun Elegance, and some from Mary Janes Cross n Stitch and have an order ready for 123 Stitch and just got an e-mail from Down Sunshine Lane that my On-line show items are there and ready to be sent out..:) I better have a good weekend at work...lol Off to stitch...

I'm losing my mind....

I don't know if it's just the "menapause" or just me losing my damn mind....I think I'm going thru my "mid-life crisis"..lol I'm so ready for some serious changes in my life. I won't bore you all with the details; but I'm going to be moving to Denver soon and can't wait...

On the stitching front; I am working on "You'll always be my best friend" by WAxing Moon for mom for Mother's Day. I can't wait to finish it; it's really cute; then I'm going to start my May Word Play. I joined a Monday's L*K SAL and can't wait to start it.. I"m off on Monday's and have the material & threads all ready to go. I finally finished my sampler I was stitching for Renee @ Stitcher's Closet and can stitch for me for a little while. I really enjoy doing model stitching for her; I like to be paid in "stash".

This puppy is a "horder"..if anything is missing we just have to check under the bed and it's there. Here's just the start of one of his "piles"..lol He's getting big. Well I gotta go get ready for work. UGH..I sure don't wanna go..here's a new picture of Scarlett; she's so precious.

A bunch of "stuff" & TULSA

Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't posted in a few days; just been busy working and stitching this model for Renee, I'll finish it tonight then I'm going to stitch my mom something for Mother's Day and the May Word Play for me. :) Here's my TULSA for this month, the lilacs are from my yard; I love how they smell; we sat outside last night and the air smelled like lilacs.

Kenny was lying on the floor by my "stitching chair" the other night and the "boys" attacked him; isn't Bear getting big? My cat (Baby) was lying on the coffee table yesterday and he was trying to play with her..lol Me & Kenny went to "The Arc" (it's like a Goodwill) and I found this Prairer Schooler for .69! I was happy..

I finally ordered myself some stash; I also got 5 skeins of threads; I got 2 Crescent Colours, Frog Legs & Ladybug, 2 Simply Shaker, Grape Arbor & Uniform Blue, and 1 Gentle Ars, Peacock. I went to take a picture and my camera was dead. Hope everyone is having a great day and able to get some stitching in...

Looking for Elmo...

Does anyone know where I can find a cross stitch pattern with "Elmo"?? Ashley told me Scarlett loves him and I want to stitch her a picture..:)
