Gettin there..

I sure am enjoying stitching this; and am positive I will stitch it again. I know how I'm gonna "finish" it, wait til you see...:) I stitched a few hours tonight; and would prob have finished it but it's 11:30 p.m. and I gotta work in the morning. I'll finish it tomorrow. Renee @ Stitcher's Closet just sent me another model to stitch for her and it's absolutly beautiful; I can't wait to start it.

I'm jealous of Ashley, they went to a Easter Festival in Bamberg, Germany today; I can't wait to skype in the morning and see how it was; she said she was gonna get me something there..:) They went to Munich a few weeks ago to the Aquarium, here's a pic of Scarlett looking at the fish. Sorry so short; I gotta get to bed..

Meet Rusty...

Kenny's birthday is in a few weeks; I have a friend whose dog recently had puppies and I got Kenny one. He named him Rusty and he just came to live with us today. Rowdy seems to like him; but the cat isn't impressed. LOL she just smells him and hisses at him.

I won a giveaway at Victorian Motto and recieved my beautiful threads today and I have to tell all of you these are absolutly beautiful and I can't wait to stitch with them. I plan on buying more of these lovely threads very soon. And of course here are a few pictures of Scarlett. She's getting so big and is such a very happy little girl. I'm so proud of the mommy Ashley is to Scarlett, I did a great job raising her if I say so myself..:) I haven't stitched today; but have a little time before Kenny gets home from work so I think I'll go stitch some.

Just a quick post; on my way out the door to go to work; but I'd much rather stay home and finish this beautiful picture...:) I started it yesterday, I stitched til about 11 and went to bed and got up and ate some toast and sat and stitched for about 1 1/2 hrs before I had to tear myself away to get in the shower. Can't wait to see it when I'm done; I don't know how I'm gonna finish it yet?? Any ideas??

Where did Winter go???

I swear the seasons are just skipping by; we never really had a winter this year and it's suppose to be in the 70's this week. I really hate to see the hot weather get here. I absolutly HATE hot weather. I think I need to move to Washington state or somewhere where it's colder and rainy all year. I finally am in NO dental pain. I swear I have never in my life experienced the pain I did with that absessed tooth. So glad it's over.

I didn't stitch for over a week; just didn't feel well enough to enjoy it. I stitched for 2 days and now I have to do some "finishing". I found a nice lady who was selling her "Busy Needle", I was so lucky to be able to buy it. I started it today and think it's going to stitch up quickly, then I'll be sending it off to Sharon (Daffy Cat); she asked to borrow it and since I asked to borrow her "Bad Hare Day" we are sharing. :)

I love violets and mine seem to be blooming like crazy; I don't know what I did different; but all 3 are just loaded with blooms. Hope everyone has a great day..

I've been MIA!!

I haven't posted in a few days; as you know from my previous posts I've had probems with a few teeth; well I really got sick from a absessed wisdom tooth; let me tell ladies; I've had 2 children totally "natural" and Ash weighted 10lbs 2oz!! I have a high pain tolerance; but this here brought it right up outta me..my glands got infected and swollen I looked like I had the mumps on one side. I went to my dentist on Thursday and he said he couldn't do anything til I got the infection under control; so he gave me some mega antibotic & pain pills and he told me if the swelling got worse to go to the ER. Well I woke up at 1:30 a.m. Saturday and couldn't swollow; I woke Kenny and he took me to the ER. They put me on an I.V. w/2 different antibotics and a steroid that took some of the swelling down; I've hardly ate for 4 days; I can't swollow; it hurts so bad. I had to call off work on Saturday and I NEVER do that. I still can't swollow without pain, but I go to the dentist today at 1:30 to hopefully get it pulled. I just hope it gets numb; I've had others tell me that sometimes the tooth won't get numb if it's infected? So, I'm scared now..LOL I haven't stitched for days...and sure do miss it. Hopefully I will feel like picking up a needle today.

Waiting in the "wings"..

I finished A Spring Day today; I LOVE this so much; I decided to omit the stitched bee and used one of my JAB little bees; isn't he sweet?? Now I won't hear Kenny saying "you always buy those buttons and don't use them". LOL Silly man!! I think I'm going to start my March W.P. tomorrow; I should finish Febs tonight; I prob could have done it today but decided to watch "Waiting to Exhale" I haven't seen that movie in years and Kenny was working so I laid my butt on the couch and watched it and ate some Saltine crackers w/butter on them..LOL I love that snack.

Here's a picture of Rowdy chasing Baby in the house from the backyard. When we got her, her owner said she'd never been outside; she's declawed so he never let her; but when Kenny smokes he goes outside and she followed him out once and now she loves it out there; I know not to leave her but she's so scared out there she walks low to the ground and stays in our fenced back yard with one or both of us out there.

I'm making my Grandma Brewster's mac & cheese for dinner; it smells so good in here; but not from the mac & cheese!! I won a giveaway from Colleens Craft Shed a week ago and recieved my adorable doll and she included some cinnimon wax; which I am using today and our home smells wonderful. Thank you Colleen; I love her. I recieved my birthday stash today also..:) It was like Christmas...and I found someone who had the Busy Needle pattern and sold it to me...:) I think I'm going to use this for a "pay it forward" pattern so watch out for that sometime in the near future..I know several of us were looking for it and it's not available any longer. Well I gotta go finish supper...take care all..xo

Is it Monday???

I can't believe that the first of March is this week!!! Where is this year going?? I still haven't finished my Feb Word Play and am debating on rather I should just put it in the growing "unfinished pile" and start on March's or what to do?? I finished some model stitching I did for Renee @ Stitcher's Closet and got them put in the mail; I will post a picture when I'm able. They were too fun and cute.

Yesterday was my 51st Birthday. UGH!! I worked and they got me cupcakes and my friend Erin & her son Nick brought me in these beautiful roses; they are so pretty; and then when I got home Kenny had got me these beautiful daisies; I had told him my dad use to always get me daisies when he was alive; so he thought it'd be sweet to get me some; I got tears, and a cute card then he made me dinner; he cooks the most amazing pork chops, I actually ate 2. LOL My Daughter Ash & her hubby sent me a Michael Jackson concert video; I love Michael and am one of those who don't believe he did those horrible things to those kids; it was just people trying to get money. I could go on about that for days; the people who lie for money..unreal..Here's a cute pictue of "Baby" she's so funny..and Ash & Scarlett..I miss them so very much.

I am off work today and need to go to Walmart. Tomorrow I plan on going to the library; I don't have a printer and there are some "freebies" I've seen lately that I want to print off and then I think I'm going to go downtown to the Antique shops and look around; as long as I don't spend all my money at Walmart..ugh..I hate Walmart. Hope everyone had a great weekend...
