Liebster is a German word meaning favourite,dearest or beloved , and is awarded to up-coming blogs with less than 200 followers.

April already???

Hi all, can't believe it's been so long since my last post; we've been pretty busy at work and I picked up a couple extra shifts and I sure can feel it on this old body of mine. I'm a waitress for a family restaurant called "The Black-eyed Pea" and we have wonderful food. :) I've been here 5 years now; they want me to train to be a manager; but I'd have to move to Denver to train and Kenny won't go there and that doesn't really matter; LOL I may need a big change in my life; both work-wise and relationship wise. He's good to me, but I just wanna be alone. I guess thats a topic for another post another day..

I stitched this little ornament; but haven't finished it yet; I don't really care to finsh things and have to figure something out my pile of unfinished things is really growing..I have my Aunt Lee's old, old sewing machine and can't figure out how to use it; I haven't used a sewing machine since High School many, many moons ago. Now, I'm stitching on a beautful sampler for Renee @ Stitcher's Closet, I'll share a photo when I'm able to, I'm loving stitching it thats for sure. Scarlett was "helping" Torry (her daddy) make a pizza the other night; but I think she ate more than she helped..LOL

I know I'm late posting my TULSA; I need to get caught up on a whole bunch of things; Hope everyone is safe in Texas where they had those tornados. Take care all.

Some stash..

The mailman brought me a goodie package today; I LOVE 123 Stitch; they ship so darn fast. I saw Becky SC had stitched these and I fell in love with them; I can only hope mine turn out as cute as hers did. :) I have a bouquet of spring silk flowers by my hutch and I have noticed "someone" was pulling them apart; I thought it was the cat and I found the culpret!!! LOL

I skyped with the girls today; Scarlet makes me laugh; she was eatting an orange and was trying to give grandma a bite; she'd put the orange on my face, it actually gave me a few tears. What I'd give to hug her and thats enough of that conversation...getting to myself again...Ash posted these pictures of Scarlett and their dog Dimitri, they've had him since he was just a little pup and he's 8 months old now; he lets Scarlett lay or climb on him whenever she wants and does nothing; he's a good dog. Ashley told me there's a slight chance their gonna be sent back to the states this summer; I pray that happens; I guess their breaking up Torry's unit and sending some people back to the U.S. I'm gonna call somebody and tell them I need my daughter & granddaughter back home...LOL Think it'll work???

A finish....

This was so much fun to stitch; I am positive I will be stitching it again. I added a JAB little bee button on the top by the flower instead of stitching it; I thought it was cute. I'm mailing it off to "Daffycat" today. I need to go to Hobby Lobby to find what I need to "finsih" it..:) Maybe I'll get there today. I had a biopsy on my cervix on Monday and thought I'd need a few days to recover and it turned out not to be that bad at all. Just some cramping. Now I have to wait 2-4 weeks for the results; why it takes so long I'll never know.

I am stitching another model for Renee, it's so pretty I can't wait to share it w/you when I'm able. I think I'll start something "Easter" for me today...hummm think I'll go play in my stash and see what I can find. I love when you go thru your stash and find things you forgot you had...lol

And of course here's Miss. Scarlett. She's getting so big; hard to believe she'll be 2 in August.

Remember when I stitched the models for Renee @ Stitcher's Closet a few weeks ago? She emailed me and said I can share with all of you and how she "finished" them are sooo adorable!!! These aren't released yet, when they are the patterns will be available thru Hoffman and the bunnies & outfits will be available at: www.stitcherscloset.com. These were such a joy to stitch and I can't wait to get my own. Love the bunnies...

I had my biopsy on my cervix today; it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be; just a few pretty good cramps. Now I just have to wait 2-4 weeks for the results; keep your fingers crossed. I am almost done with Busy Needle; then I have another model I"m working on for Renee that is as wonderful as this; maybe even a little more fun. I am very blessed to have the chance to stitch for Renee; she's a very kind lady and I love her on-line site.

Back to stitching...

Gettin there..

I sure am enjoying stitching this; and am positive I will stitch it again. I know how I'm gonna "finish" it, wait til you see...:) I stitched a few hours tonight; and would prob have finished it but it's 11:30 p.m. and I gotta work in the morning. I'll finish it tomorrow. Renee @ Stitcher's Closet just sent me another model to stitch for her and it's absolutly beautiful; I can't wait to start it.

I'm jealous of Ashley, they went to a Easter Festival in Bamberg, Germany today; I can't wait to skype in the morning and see how it was; she said she was gonna get me something there..:) They went to Munich a few weeks ago to the Aquarium, here's a pic of Scarlett looking at the fish. Sorry so short; I gotta get to bed..

Meet Rusty...

Kenny's birthday is in a few weeks; I have a friend whose dog recently had puppies and I got Kenny one. He named him Rusty and he just came to live with us today. Rowdy seems to like him; but the cat isn't impressed. LOL she just smells him and hisses at him.

I won a giveaway at Victorian Motto and recieved my beautiful threads today and I have to tell all of you these are absolutly beautiful and I can't wait to stitch with them. I plan on buying more of these lovely threads very soon. And of course here are a few pictures of Scarlett. She's getting so big and is such a very happy little girl. I'm so proud of the mommy Ashley is to Scarlett, I did a great job raising her if I say so myself..:) I haven't stitched today; but have a little time before Kenny gets home from work so I think I'll go stitch some.
