TULSA & I hate when this happens!!!

Just when I was almost finished w/Forgive Quickly I ran out of thread! And I can't get to my LNS for at least another week; I may just order it tonight from either Down Sunshine Lane or 123 Stitch; I'd get it by prob Tues/Wednesday. So, I still felt like stitching so I picked up one of my Crazy Challenges and worked on "And two shall be as one" for Ash & Torry. It's a fun and fast stitch.

Here's a picture of my TULSA for March. I've been stitching more this month than last. Not much else to say; kind of feeling "blah" tonight. It's getting closer to when the girls leave and it's sure hard. It breaks my heart to think that they'll be gone in 3 weeks. Night all...

A finish...

Well, I tackled making a "cube" for the first time; it was pretty easy using Vonnas guide. I know it's no where's near as good as Vonna does; when I grow up I wanna be just like her. LOL But, I'll keep trying. I don't know why the camera is taking such blurry pictures, maybe it needs charged?

I bought Scarlett this ball yesterday at Walgreens and she loves it; We spend more time picking it up than anything. LOL They went out to dinner with a girlfriend and I've been home alone for about 4 hours; it's giving me a taste of what it's going to be like in a few weeks when they leave. :( It's going to be a diffident change that's for sure. But I know they are grown and have to live their own lives. Like we all have done in our lives. Now, I know how my mom felt when I moved out of state. I'm still considering moving back to Ohio this year. We'll see how things go. I am so close to finishing the Forgive Quickly; I only have one column to do and I'll be done; so I think I'll go finish it and wait on my girls to get home.

Stash!!!!

I recieved my orders from 123 Stitch and Down Sunshine Lane today. :) Of course the new ornament "Bringing home the tree" is on backorder. :( I hate when that happens. I can't wait to get started on the Garden picture, it's going to be so cute. Then Ash, Scarlett and me went running errands, paid the cable & electric, and went to the mall - for 3 hours. LOL We went into JoAnns and Ash bought me this cute sewing basket for my belated birtday gift. I got some of the items from my Aunt Lee's sewing basket and I didn't have one; I fell in love with this one when I saw it and it was 40% off. We tried on some bunny ears on Scarlett :)

We also bought some letters spelling out "Scarlett" that were going to paint pink and purple for her bedroom when they move. Ash bought a few things at Victoria Secret; she's addicted to their "Pink" stuff, like I am to Cross Stitch stuff. We came home and I sent another order into Down Sunshine Lane for the new LK "peep" design, I fell in love with it, I also ordered 3 of the threads for it that I don't have. I have to enjoy this stash shopping now; because when Ash leaves I won't be able to afford it. She's paying 1/2 the bills now while their living here and when she leaves I have to do it alone. :( It won't be that bad, I have enought stash to last me about 2 lifetimes. LOL I need to get stitching on some of this I have; tomorrow were going to Springs and I'm going to my LNS for some 30 ct. material for the garden picture and a few other threads; I'm slowly building up my WDW,CC & GA threads. I have quite a few now. Ash is spending the night with a friend and I'm babysitting. She's sleeping and I'm off tomorrow, so I think I'll go and stitch on my Forgive Quickly; I'm about 1/2 way done; it's a fast and very fun stitch.

I finally sat and stitched some tonight while off and on watching the Oscars. I'm sorry but they were boring. I love to see the gowns and jewelry and of course the shoes; it's on my "bucket list" to own a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes before I die. LOL Me and Ashley went to Cherry Creek Mall last summer; it's a "Rich Mall" in Denver, we dressed up and "pretended" we had more than $100 in our purses. LOL Well, we went into Neiman Marcus store and they had C.L. shoes!!! I had to try them on; I tried on $800 black pumps and walked around a little (the sales lady didn't go too far away) LOL I told her "they pinch my feet; I don't think I'll take them" LOL I tried to get Ash to take a picture of me wearing them; but she wouldn't!! We had a blast. At least I can say I wore a pair for about 5 mins.

I worked on Forgive Quickly by LK tonight; I'm using CC's Manor Red; it doesn't show up on this picture; I'll take a better one when I'm done. I have a BUNCH of new stash on it's way from Down Sunshine Lane and also 123 Stitch;hopefully they'll get here this week. I can hardly wait. I was "bad" and bought the new Blackbird book "Stitchers Journal" it looks beautiful plus a few other new designs from Nashville, the "Yellow Bird" from La D DA and a few others; I'll post a picture when they get here. Hope everyone has a great week; I'm off the next two days; were going to do a lot of running around tomorrow; have to go with Ash to get hers and Scarletts pass ports; they plan on leaving the 24th of March for Germany. Her hubby (Torry) will be here on the 10th of March. He's in the Army for those of you who are new to my blog. I'll really be stitching up a storm; I have to get my Aunt Lees sewing machine out of the case and see if I can work it; so I can "finish" all these projects I'm stitching. :) I may do that tomorrow or Tuesday. This is a picture of Ash, Torry and Scarlett when he was home in Dec. Grandma bought the coat and hat..:)

Think I'll go stitch a little more; I'm not sleepy at all...
