Days 7 & 8

I hope everyones having a good month so far. We are expecting to get some snow tomorrow and Monday; which is good for me; I'm off on Monday and Tuesday. We don't get much snow here in Pueblo, Co. We really need the moisture.

It's been a pretty quiet day/evening; I worked til 4 and went to the grocery store, then home and made my grandma's spaghetti for supper, did the dishes, played a little poker on facebook, and stitched; we watched "wipeout" and an episode of "ellen" we had recorded on the DVR.

I am really enjoying the "crazy challenge"; it's fun to finally start some of the projects I just "had to have". LOL I had this banding and decided to stitch a "Welcome" sign; I'm going to have to order some bellpull hardware to finish it; and in the tulip pic; I am using the called for GA threads, the material I choose has more of a pink tint to it than whats called for it's 32 ct. I'm going to finish it into a pillow. Hope everyone has a good Sunday; I have to work.

Day 5 of Challenge

I had a lot of fun stitching on this; I've had this pattern and material for I bet 7 years. It's from Waxing Moon Designs, "Coffee, Chocolate, Men" somethings are better rich. LOL I'm using the called for material and threads.

Not much to say today, just one of those days. Scarlett is teething and was really grouchy tonight; poor baby. 95% of the time she's a doll baby; she's such a good baby. My oldest daughter (Heather) came to stay w/us for a little while; last night my 2 daughters had me laughing so hard; it's nice to come home from work and the house is clean. :)

TULSA and Day 4

Sorry I didn't get this posted last night; time just got away from me. I wanted to stitch more on this yesterday; but I lost my stitching "mojo" I had to force myself to stitch just this little bit. LOL I'm using 28 ct. Cafe Mocha and it's so nice to work with; I loved it once I got started. And I'm using the called for CC and DMC threads. Also I started my TULSA; I decided to start with a clean bowl. I saved last years threads; any ideas what to do with them? I hate to throw them away.

Day 3

Just a short post; I didn't stitch as much as I wanted; I went to my LNS and bought 5pieces of material for this challenge and 9 skeins of WDW and 2 of CC. I still need to order some GA; it's a lot cheaper if I order it from 123 Stitch.

This is Small Tokens from BBD; it's going to be so cute when I get it done.

Day 2 of Challenge

Well, this is such fun; I choose to start "Simple Joys" from LHN; I'm stitching it on the called for fabric and using the CC and WDW threads. I pulled out all my projects for this challenge and wrote down all the threads I need; I'm going to my LNS tomorrow and want to get the rest of the threads. A few of the designs I've choosen call for all DMC which is cheaper then the others. But I love using the WDW, GA an CC threads. They really make the pictures stand out I think. I also have to get material for 4 of the projects.

I worked today and I'm off the next two days so hopefully I can get a little farther on the pictures I stitch tomorrow and Tuesday. Thank you for all your sweet comments on yesterdays post; I read everyone of them; I'm up to 61 followers now :)
