Finally some stitching...

I belong to a group on Facebook, and they loan out OOP Blackbird charts and I was lucky enough to be able to borrow Autumn Song and stitch it. I've wanted to stitch this ever since I received it; but I am working towards a manager position with the restaurant I've worked at for the past 9 years and have been working 10 to 12 hour days and haven't been able to stitch; but today I didn't have to be at work until 3, so I was able to start it. I got one leaf done before I had to get ready for work. It's not going to take me long once I'm able to sit and stitch on it for a day and my 55th Birthday is this coming Friday and I took it off work, and I think I may just be able to get some solid stitching done. Last night at work; I noticed this little boy sitting with the table tent from his table on his head, he sat there for a good 15 minutes if not longer with it balanced there; it made me smile, I wonder what he was thinking?? Not much else going on, Hope everyone is doing well and getting plenty of stitching done..

Autumn Song is lovely and what a great idea to have a lending library for OOP charts.
I would guess the little boy is autistic and the menu balancing helped him feel grounded? Hubby is more impressed by the fact that his sister resisted the urge to knock it off for 15 minutes! What did his parents say when you asked about the photograph? It does seem like a great way to get him to keep still while he's waiting!
