Some finishes. :)

Well, I stitched all day yesterday and finished things today; the little tuplip candle holders I bought at King Soopers (grocery store) after Easter; they were marked down to $1.00 so I bought up on them and will do one for the winner of my giveaway (along w/other goodies). I made one for my mom and the other for myself. I'm sure my finishing will get better; I'm pretty new at some of it.

This is my moms Mother's Day gift; I stitched my Grandmas initials and the year she was born on it; I switched it up a little I added a few of my Grandmas buttons; I collect buttons and mom sent me some of my Grandma's and some off some of my Dads old shirts. I know she'll cry. LOL Then I had stitched up this little "Love" design a while ago and I have about 10 Altoid tins and decided to finish it; it's my first one. :) Hope everyone has a great day....

Stitched all day!!

Today I was off work and I washed a load of towels & my robe, made my bed and that's all the housework I did. LOL I did my sheets and work clothes yesterday so I could stitch all day and that's exactly what I did. :) I finished stitching my mom's Mother's Day gift; I looked thru my Stitcher's Journal and stitched her up a little something extra; I also stitched one up for the winner of my giveaway. :) It's nothing big; just something really cute. Once I "finish" them I will post a picture, give you a little peak; (I also stithced myself up one) LOL

I love this book and found a few other things I may start one of them tonight while watching DWTS. I was suppose to go to the movies w/some girls from work; but changed my mind. It's suppose to rain and it's kind of cold out; I am just enjoying my alone time so much. The girls got to Texas safe; Ashley drove straight thru; 17 hours w/Scarlett! Scarlett travels well. We drove to my moms in October when she was just a little baby and she did great then also. I do miss her so much. I don't know what I'll fix myself for supper? I'm making Tuna Casserole tomorrow; I don't feel like cooking anything really; maybe I'll just make a sandwich. Hope everyone has a great Monday night. :) I'm gonna go look for something else to stitch.. LOL

Here is a little stash I recieved from 123 Stitch. I've been wanting to do the Home of a Needleworker 2 for a while now; anyone up for a SAL?? That would be fun. And of course here's a few pictures of my angel. Her and her mommy are on their way to visit my daughters dad in Texas for 2 weeks. I miss them already; I don't know what I'll do when they go to Germany?? Hope everyone has a great weekend. I have to work tomorrow and then I'm off Monday and Tuesday. Gonna go stitch on my moms Mothers Day gift; I have to get it out in the mail on Monday.

Stash

I went to my LNS and bought a little more stash. :) It was raining and cold outside; perfect for stash shopping. I went to Barnes & Nobles and sat and looked at some magazines before I came home. We just had a quiet night; watching T.V. It's still raining out; we really need the rain.

I need to get my moms gift out and get it done. I'm about 3/4 done with it so it won't take long. Ash & Scarlett are leaving Saturday for Texas for 2 weeks; she's going to see her dad before going to Germany. Now Torry says it'll probabley be July before they get to go to Germany instead of June. Scarlett had her first "play date" today and didn't do well. LOL

Ashley's girlfriend came to visit and bought her little boy; he's 4 days older than Scarlett; they put them down on the floor together and Jonthan reached over and touced Scarletts face and she cried..LOL then he cried. They were doing better by the end of the visit.

Chenille Trim!!

I ordered some chenille trim from Nancy Turner on Friday and I got it in todays mail.. Thank you Nancy for sending my order out so fast. I love this trim and need to hurry and stitch something up from BBD to use it.

I ordered: Multi Spice, Faded Gold and Chestnut Brown. Their beautiful!!

Happy Monday..

I'm off work today yea!! Yesterday was crazy, I'm a waitress and people were so rude and cheap on Easter. It just amazes me how families come in and let their kids order prime rib, $3.99 drinks and will leave a $5 tip. I had my a few of my regulars so that helped; but for the most part; I've learned people are their rudest on Sundays. They go to church and make their peace w/god and then come and treat others like shit; they have a "clean slate" so to speak. LOL Ok, I vented. LOL

On the stitching front; I've been working on my LK exchange, I'll finish it and mail it off later this afternoon. I have to finish moms Mothers Day gift; I thought Mothers Day was later in the month. :( I'm almost done with it so it won't take me long. Me and my oldest daughter Heather are going to our LNS tomorrow; I really want to get some WDW 30 ct. Carrot colour material and a couple other things I didn't pick up last week when I was there that have been on my mind. You know how it is when you see something and wish you would have picked it up. Hopefully they'll still be there. Hope everyone had a great Easter and was able to get some stitching in. I'll post a picture when I'm able of my LK exchange; it's really cute..
