First Pedicure. LOL

Well, today me and Ashley went to get Pedicures; she's been getting them and telling me how much I've been missing out; so I broke down and went a got my first one; and let me tell you ladies!!!! THEIR GREAT!! Anyone of you who have never treated yourself to one; take $25 and go treat yourself. I will be getting one a month for the rest of my life!! LOL well, maybe not every month; but I sure will start a little jar to save change to treat myself once in a while. I am going to start stitching something new tonight; but I don't have the slightest idea what yet; I'll go thru my stash and I'm sure something will "pop" out at me. Hope everyone is having a safe and fun summer.

Finally finished Santa RR

It took me longer than I expected; but I finally finished the Santa RR and have it in the mail. I will post a picture when the RR is done and the owner has it, it did turn out pretty nice. I don't know what I'll stitch on now; may take a few days break; I have the next ladies RR to work on; it's a halloween theme and I love to stitch halloween things; I already have something picked out to stitch for her. :)
I ordered some stash last week from Stitcher's Closet and haven't received it yet; I hate waiting for things I order online; it seems to take forever; my LNS is a little over an hour away and I just don't have the time to run up there; but at least I don't have to wait to get my stash. Not much else going on; it's just so damn hot; I hate, hate, hate the summer, come on snow!! LOL

Not much going on with me; finished with the Santa RR and am mailing it out tomorrow; I will post a picture when I'm able to; I think I have to wait til she gets the RR back. I don't know for sure yet what I'm going to stitch next; Kenny said he's taking me to the cross stitch shop I've been dying to go to in Littleton this weekend; it's about 2 hours away. YEA!!

Loving my new job.

Last night I actually was paid to "play" with Cross Stitch supplies. LOL My manager took me to that aisle and told me to work there all night, alone. I was loving my life for 4 hours. I found about $50 worth of things I HAVE TO HAVE!! LOL I'm off work today and am going to finish my Santa RR and get it in the mail tomorrow; now I'm off to the grocery store w/ Ash and then home to stitch for the rest of the day/night and just relax.

I hate this new "Design" thing on Blogspot!!!

I am not very good with the computer; and I started to change my pattern and messed up my blog :( hopefully when I am in a better frame of mind. (LOL:raging PMS now) I can fix it back; so please be patient with me. LOL My daughter says I shouldn't even own a computer. I'd just figured the old one out and then they change it. LOL I'm almost done with the Santa RR, it's been a rough one, I just have his beard to do and I should be able to have it done by prob. Thursday; then I'm stitching for a Lizzie Kate exchange; and can't wait to do this project, I spent a few hours looking at all my patterns and picked out a cute one. I'm about due for another "stash" run real soon, I can't fight the "urge" much longer. LOL But I had to get new front brakes for my car $246, so that may slow my splurge.

RIP Uncle Bill. :(

My Uncle Bill lost his battle with cancer tonight. He was 80 and lived a great life; as we get older it is so sad that we start to lose those who have been such an important part of our lives; 5 years ago this November I lost my dad. I never imanged I would ever have to face my life without calling my mom and dads house and hear his voice. Life is so precious and short, this is it, you don't get a second chance, as my boss once told me; "This isn't a rehersel for your life, you don't get another chance to go back and redo anything". So, those of you who do still have your dad, special Aunt or Uncle, call them or go see them and hug them; you don't know when you will ever have a chance to tell them you love them..

2nd Day .. Better. LOL

Well, my second day was better; they hired 55 of us and are only keeping 25! They never told us that when they hired us. I'm so glad I haven't quit my other job yet. I hope they keep me, I guess we'll just have to wait and see; I'll do my best and hope for the best. It's a small store. I stitched a little on a Bent Creek zipper kit, the Snowman one; but got bored with it; I have to finish that darn Santa for the exchange.
