Happy Saturday...

Good Morning. Scarlett woke me around 8; w/ a "surprise" in her diaper (way to start the day) LOL and I feed her and she's sitting in her playpen playing with her toys. Ashley had a bad migraine last night; I gave her 1/2 a Vicidon and she slept good I think? I hope it's gone today; she gets them from her birth control pills; she needs to figure something else out and get a lower dose or use something else.

It sounds like they'll be going to Germany between the end of May and the middle of June. She's so excited. I'm excited for them, I will miss them like crazy but I know this is what she has to do. She's taking Scarlett to Texas to see her dad the 2nd of May til the 15th. I'll get lots of stitching done while their gone I'm sure. I'll be bored to death. LOL I think I've decided to move back to Ohio in September. I HATE the summer in Ohio; it's so humid. Plus summer is our busiest time of the year and I make great money; I'll save as much as I can because I don't plan on working in Ohio during the fall/winter. I'm going to be staying in my SIL's parents house for free; she said if I stayed there and took care of the house I could live there for free for a year and then we'd figure out a good rent for me or maybe I'll buy it? It's a real cute little 2 bedroom home w/a garage in Cortland, Ohio.

I went to the dentist yesterday. I hate the dentist; but she did an exellent job. I have a few more trips then I'll be good to go. That's another reason for me staying is I want to finish my dental work here. Not much stitching going on; Still working on Spring Tulip by Waxing Moon. We are going to Springs on Tuesday and I'm going to my LNS. :) I need a few tulip buttons for this picture. And some material to "finish" this into a flat fold. My LNS is also a quilt shop and has a ton of beautiful material. Ashley & Torry had pictures taken when he was home; these are my favorites; I bought Scarlett the coat & hat; she looks like a princess in it. LOL Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend....

Mojo back & Zoo :)

I finally got my stitching mojo back.. I've been stitching up a storm; I finished my LK Easter Sampler; I just need to "finish" it and I got out one of my Crazy Challenge picutres; the Spring Tulip from Waxing Moon; the basket wasn't much fun to stitch; but it's done and now I can move onto the flowers. I can't wait to finish this one; tulips are one of my favorite flowers.

Me and Ash took Scarlett to the little zoo here in Pueblo; and I do mean "little zoo"; they don't even have elephants, rinos, hippos, tigers..etc..I could go on, but it was a pretty day and we really enjoyed ourselves. Scarlett didn't like the chickens, she cried. LOL Then we went over to a park and put her on the swings; her first real swings, those she loved. Well, I think I'm going to go and stitch :) I'll post more pictures later....

Today is my Friday...

I have to work today and I'm off Monday and Tuesday; I hate working on Sundays; I'm a waitress and people seem to go to church and make their peace w/god and then they feel like they can come in and treat us like...well, you know what. LOL I have a tooth ache; I got to the dentist on Friday; so hopefully I'll make it til then.

When I woke up Scarlett was still asleep; so I sat down and picked up my Sampling Easter and stitched on it for about 45 minutes til she woke up. It felt nice to stitch; I think my "slump" is over. LOL

We had such a nice time with my grandson (Hayden). Here are pictures of him and Scarlett and of us. He's growing so fast; I know if he was with me I'd cut that hair!! LOL But it's who he is, he loves his hair. He's only 15 and is 6'2. A lot taller then grandma. LOL Well I guess I better go shower and get ready for work. :( I would rather sit home and stitch all day; Ashley is going to a friends house to ride horses and taking Scarlett to her Aunt to babysit. Hope everyone has a great weekend...

She's too cute!!!

Hi, well I've totally lost my stiching "mojo" :( I can't even stitch for 15 minutes and I'm bored. This hasn't happened to me for a long time and I sure hope it passes soon. Me and Ashley drove to Monument to meet some friends who brought my 15 year old grandson to spend the week for spring break yesterday. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive to Monument. We had a nice drive thru the mountains. I wore capri's and my Birkenstock sandles and when we got up to Monument there was a ton of snow!! We saw 4 very pretty young ladies in bikini's getting their pictures taken stand in the snow. LOL It looked very cold...

I wish I would have brought the camera. We've been playing WII a lot; it's a lot of fun; I beat the kids bowling 3 games tonight. Their still playing; I get bored after about an hour of playing any kind of "game". Work was kind of slow, hopefully tomorrow will be better; I need to make some money for some bills. Hopefully Hayden (grandson) will let me take some pictures tomorrow; he hates his picture taken. Ashley and Heather are taking him back on Friday; I have to work. I have a dentist appt. next Friday (15th) and am already having to get myself talked into not canceling, I have to go. I'm terrified of the dentist and it takes all I have to go. Hope everyones having a good week so far; I'm going to go "force" myself to stitch and see if I can get my "mojo" back...:)

TUSLA & some stitching...

I was off work today; me and Ash and Miss. Scarlett went to the mall and we bought her some summer clothes; we bought them a size bigger. Last night we had pizza, I tore off a piece of mine and let Scarlett chew on it, she loved it :) then when I took it from her she cried. LOL She loves pizza. Not much going on really; I've been stitching on LK's Sampling Easter for a few days; I just can't get in the mood to stitch lately. I stitch for about 30 minutes and just am bored. I hope this mood passes soon and I get my mojo back.

I'm off work tomorrow also; me and Ashley are driving to Montrose to pick up my grandson, Hayden for spring break. He'll be here til Friday. It will be great to have him here. He's never seen Scarlett; and I plan on taking lots of pictures of the two of them and of all of us. Sorry I don't have much to write about tonight. Kind of have the "blahs".

Pueblo Quilt & Stitch Expo..

I've gone to the Pueblo Quilt & Stitch Expo for prob 8 years now; I don't know why they call it "Stitch" there isn't ever any Cross Stitch booths there; and I don't quilt (yet), but I still enjoy walking around and looking at the beautiful quilts. This year I bought a Pattern to make some halloween decorations; I"m going to give it a try; and two things of buttons; it was fun picking out the ones I wanted, that lady prob thought I was crazy; there was a huge bin and you could fill a small bag for $3, I hand picked everyone. LOL Then they had prepackaged ones, I picked up one of those also. I'm going to use the buttons for my finishing on my cross stitch pillows. And I picked up 3 fat quarters of material for finishing.

It's 4:15 a.m. now; I woke and let the dogs out; Scarlett woke so I changed her and gave her a bottle, she went back to sleep; which is where I need to go since I have to work a double tomorrow; I'm just not tired; I went to bed around 10 last night; I've been so tired lately? I may make myself a Dr. Appt. to get a check up soon. I have a dentist Appt. the 15th and man do I HATE going to the dentist; I have to have their 1st appointment of the day otherwise I"ll find some reason to cancel. LOL Not much on the stitching; I have lost my stitching mojo; it'll come back I"m sure. :)
