I knew today would come; the girls leave for Dallas today. They fly out of Dallas to Germany tomorrow. Their flying out of Dallas because that's where Ashley has to ship the car from. I have dreaded this day for months. Time is going by so fast. I have to work til about 3, I think their leaving about . It's a 12 hour drive from here to Dallas.
Not much to say today..I wish this day was already over...

So sorry. I know you know they need to be with DH/Daddy, but it doesn't make you miss them any less! I'll say a prayer for all of you.

Hi Sharlene! I am so sorry you are having to say goodbye to your girls...but I'm in the same boat...my hubby is stationed in Okinawa Japan, and it is soooo hard to be so far from family!! Of course I've been an Air Force wife for 6 years now, so I've learned a bit, but it is rough when their first duty station is so far away...it just doesn't seem fair! =( ::Hugs::, and thank YOU for sacrificing for the mission...let Ashley know that if she needs to "talk" she can get ahold of me at my blog, I know she doesn't know me, and we are different branches, but my heart goes out to those new spouses...we are all in the "military family"
