I am moving this week and won't have my internet hooked up til Monday.. I'm just moving across the street; I live in a duplex now and am moving into a cute little house right across the street. I hate packing but it's not like I have to pack "good" since it's only going across the street. LOL

I've met so many sweet ladies from my blog and from Yahoo stitching groups. I saw on Barbara's blog this Halloween design that I fell in love with and asked if she'd like to sell/trade it; well this sweet lady sent me an e-mail and said that if I send her my address I may get a surprise in the mail. Well, today I did!! She sent me the design in a nice plastic cover.

Thank you so very much Barbara; now maybe you'll be just as blessed as I have been :). I should be packing and sorting thru things; but I'm looking at blogs and am going to stitch and finish my Blackbird Design stocking. I want to stitch some more halloween designs. :)

Sorry I've been MIA! LOL

Hi, well a lot has been going on since my last post. Ashley and Scarlett are starting to move in. My son in law (Torry) left for Missouri for basic training and the girls are going to stay with me while he's away. There's the cutiest cottage across the street that came up for rent; so we walked over and looked at it and I fell in love. It'll be tight while the girls are with me but when they leave; it'll be perfect for me (and Kenny when he comes back). So, she's moving out of her house; putting her things in storage and I'm packing up this place and planning on moving next weekend across the street. LOL I'll post pictures when I'm done.

I'm still stitching on my fall stocking that I was suppose to mail out the 20th. LOL I got in touch with the lady and she fully understands; I do want to get it out this week; I need to go to Hobby Lobby and get some beads to finish it. I'll do that tomorrow when I get off work. Hobby Lobby is close to my job. I don't feel like going out tonight. When I was stitching a few nights ago; Scarlett fell asleep on my lap. I had to post a picture for you all to see Grandma stitching. LOL The shirt is Kenny's; I wouldn't buy a cami shirt. LOL

Hope everyone is doing well and hopefully your weather is changing to fall. It's still kind of hot around here; but suppose to cool off this weekend.

Things are looking up!!!

Kenny has called me at least 7 times today. :) I think he'll be back in March; he's going to work for a friend in Oregon over the winter. There aren't many good paying jobs around here.

There's this beautiful house across the street that has a little cottage that sits back from the street; when Kenny was here he made friends with the guy; I called him today (the guy, Nathan) and asked about it; he said it was a 1 bedroom newly remodeled home built in 1908; but he had just totally redecorated the whole inside; new wiring and it has the original hardwood floor he had professionally refinished; I told him I wanted to look at it; so when he got home from work he called me and me and Ashley and Scarlett walked over to see it; and I fell in love. It's beautiful! He rented it to me right there on the spot. He was asking $550 for it; but said he'd give it to me for $500. Which is what I pay for this duplex; where I listen to the young people up stairs walking above me and their big dogs barking at all hours. I'm excited; it's so pretty; I'll take pictures when I get it all decorated.

I think I'll go stitch a little. :)

Be careful what you wish for....

So many times I wanted Kenny to leave; and now I just got home from leaving him at the bus station and I want him to come back. We are going to take a little break for a few months and he said he'd be back. I want to drive to Denver and get him at the bus station. He's going back home to Oregon.

I love him; I was just living alone for 14 years and then he moved in and I just had some problems adjusting to someone else being here and driving me around; we fought a lot; he drives crazy but I believe most men do. LOL

Sorry to dump this on you ladies; I feel comfortable sharing with all of you. Your like my shoulder to cry on and believe me; I've cried a ton of tears today and last night.

So,be careful what you wish for because when you get it; it more than likely NOT what you really wanted...

Just another day...

I worked til 3:30 and then me and Ashley went to the grocery store; her hubby leaves on Sunday for Missouri; he joined the Army last spring and leaves for boot camp; Me and Kenny decided to take a "break" for a while; he leaves for Oregon Saturday night, I have mixed feelings about it; but wonder if I hate the idea of being alone again or of missing him? I'm going to have to do some soul searching and see what happens; I told Ash her and Scarlett can move in with me while her hubby (Torry) is gone; I think she will; so that'll be nice. I haven't stitched for a few days, too many things going on for me to relax and stitch; I prob won't stitch til this weekend. I know I'll miss Kenny, it'll be strange being all alone again. I lived alone for about 14 years before Kenny came into my life and he's been living with me now 15 months. I guess we'll see what happens. You know that old saying "if you love something set it free, if it comes back to you it's yours if not it never was", we'll see how true it is. Plus I have a wisdom tooth that is bothering me; I"m suppose to get it pulled Oct 15 but don't think I'll make it to then. :( I HATE going to the dentist.
